1. Information We Collect
DeepProto collects only what is necessary to provide the service:
- Account information: email address, name, company, and phone provided at registration;
- Quote & order data: uploaded CAD files, process and material parameters, quote records, order and payment status;
- Communications: messages exchanged through our help center or email;
- Technical logs: server access logs (IP address, timestamps), used solely for security auditing and troubleshooting.
We do not integrate any third-party web analytics, advertising, or behavioral tracking services.
2. Purposes & Legal Basis
- Providing quotes, production, and delivery — necessary for performance of the contract (GDPR Art. 6(1)(b));
- Keeping accounts and the platform secure (login verification, abuse prevention) — legitimate interests (GDPR Art. 6(1)(f));
- Sending account- and order-related notifications (verification codes, order status) — necessary for performance of the contract.
We do not send marketing emails. If this changes, we will ask for your consent first, withdrawable at any time.
3. Cookies & Local Storage
We use only strictly necessary local storage (login session, interface preference). There are no analytics, advertising, or cross-site tracking cookies, which is why you see no consent banner. See the Cookie Notice for details.
4. CAD Files & Quote Data
The CAD files, drawings, and technical documents you upload remain your property. They are used solely for quote evaluation and order production — never for marketing or disclosure to unrelated third parties.
To keep improving quote accuracy, we analyze derived parameters of orders (material, process, quantity, geometric dimensions, volume, actual machining hours, and similar statistical features). The original CAD files themselves do not take part in this analysis and are never published alongside the derived parameters.
5. Storage & Security
- Data is stored on access-controlled production servers (United States) with encrypted backups;
- All traffic is encrypted (HTTPS / TLS);
- Payments are processed by a licensed third-party payment provider; we never store full card numbers.
6. Retention
- Account information: retained until the account is closed;
- CAD files & order data: removed from production systems within 90 days after order completion;
- Archived backups: retained 12 months, solely for compliance audits and dispute resolution;
- Technical logs: rotated as operationally required.
7. Your Rights
Whether you are in the EU (GDPR Art. 15–22), California (CCPA), or another applicable jurisdiction, you may exercise the following rights over your personal data:
- Access, rectification, and erasure;
- Data export (portability);
- Restriction of and objection to processing;
- Account deletion (removing associated personal data, except where legal retention duties apply).

8. Minors
DeepProto serves professional manufacturing and engineering customers. It is not directed at individuals under 16, and we do not knowingly collect their personal information.
9. Changes & Contact
